Yule marks the Wheel of the Year at the Winter Solstice, December 21, being the shortest day and longest night of the year. This is a time when the Holly King (who rules from Midsummer to Yule) begins to take over from the Oak King (who rules from Yule to Midsummer) as the sun is reborn and the days slowly but surely start to get longer. This is a time for rebirth, introspection, renewal and new beginnings.
This oil comes in a 60ml dropper bottle and is made with fir needle, cinnamon, peppermint and sweet orange essential oils in a base of sunflower oil along with clear quartz crystal chips, pine needles, juniper sprigs and a bit of skin-safe mica.
Use this oil to dress your Yule candles, in a bath, applied directly to the body, in aromatherapy, or in whatever way best suits your practices, preferences and intentions.
All oil blends are diluted to 5%, which means they are safe to use directly on the skin and in the bath. However, it is advisable to dab a small amount of the oil on the inside of your arm where your elbow bends to test for any reaction or sensitivity first.
