Samhain (pronounced Sow-enn) marks the end of the growing season and the start of the Celtic New Year. This Sabbat marked a liminal time - a transitional period or state between worlds - where we stand at the threshold between one realm and another, allowing Spirits to enter into our world more easily and for us to enter theirs. This was a time for ancestor worship for the Celtic people and a time in which divination rituals were performed.
This oil comes in a 60ml dropper bottle and is made with anise, cedarwood, cinnamon and sweet orange essential oils in a base of sunflower oil along with obsidian crystal chips, mugwort, mandrake and vervain.
This oil can be used to dress candles, in a bath, applied directly to the body, or in whatever way best suits your practices, preferences and intentions.
All oil blends are diluted to 5%, which means they are safe to use directly on the skin and in the bath. However, it is advisable to dab a small amount of the oil on the inside of your arm where your elbow bends to test for any reaction or sensitivity first.
