Kwan Yin (Quan Yin) is a Goddess of Compassion and Mercy and is an Ascended Master, an enlightened being, or Bodhisattva, whose mission is to aid in the enlightenment and spiritual freedom of all beings. In the Buddhist tradition, she is known for her gentle nature and loving kindness. She is an advocate of women's rights and patron Goddess of sailors, business owners and criminals.
She is evoked for the purposes of pregnancy and childbearing and has dominance over the forces of nature. She is associated with the willow tree and is often portrayed with a vase which contains the nectar of Compassion and Wisdom; a dove as a symbol of hope and regeneration; and a book or scroll representing the teachings of the Buddha.
This oil is hand-blended with rose, lemon, and marjoram essential oils in a base of olive oil. Use this oil to call upon her for protection, fertility and pregnancy, childbirth, women's rights, compassion, mercy, wisdom, truth and freedom. This oil can be used to dress candles for spell work, to anoint ritual tools in her honor, or for use in a bath or applied on the body.
All oil blends are diluted to 5%, which means they are safe to use directly on the skin and in the bath. However, it is advisable to dab a small amount of the oil on the inside of your arm where your elbow bends to test for any reaction or sensitivity first.
