Associated with the Dark Moon and witchcraft, Hecate is associated with baneful herbs, curses, witchcraft and black magick. As a Triple Goddess, she represents the Moon in all of her phases but is most closely associated with the Crone, the Dark Moon, and the Waning phase of the Moon. She is often depicted as three separate figures, all with their backs to each other, and each holding one of her symbols - a torch, a key and a serpent or dagger.
As ruler of the Earth, Sky and Sea, Hecate is not bound to any particular realm or area of influence. She rules over herbs - both those that curse and cure - occult knowledge, witchcraft, necromancy and guards crossroads, doorways and boundaries of any sort; hence her association with keys. She is the patron Goddess of witches, as it is said that it was she who taught the first women about the practice of witchcraft and the occult.
This oil comes in a 60ml dropper bottle and is made with cypress, peppermint and clary sage essential oils in a base of sunflower oil along with obsidian crystal chips, vervain, peppermint and pennyroyal.
Use this oil in spells and rituals for knowledge of witchcraft, magick, sorcery, the occult, necromancy, death, and for new beginnings. This oil can be used to dress candles for spell work, to anoint ritual tools in her honor, or for use in a bath or applied on the body.
All oil blends are diluted to 5%, which means they are safe to use directly on the skin and in the bath. However, it is advisable to dab a small amount of the oil on the inside of your arm where your elbow bends to test for any reaction or sensitivity first.
