Anointing is the act of applying a substance - usually an oil - to an otherwise ordinary object in order to render it sacred. Anointing oil is used to render a mundane object sacred and, therefore, suitable for ritual work. Any object can be anointed (i.e. made sacred) for any purpose simply through your actions and intentions.
Hand-blended with high vibrational essential oils including cedarwood, myrrh, frankincense and sandalwood with jojoba oil in a base of olive oil, use this oil to anoint your ritual items, as an altar oil, to dedicate yourself and/or your tools to a specific deity, or as part of a circle casting ritual. This oil can also be used to dress candles, in a bath, applied directly to the body, or in whatever way best suits your practices, preferences and intentions.
All oil blends are diluted to 5%, which means they are safe to use directly on the skin and in the bath. However, it is advisable to dab a small amount of the oil on the inside of your arm where your elbow bends to test for any reaction or sensitivity first.
