Traditionally used for Smudging (Smoke Cleansing) ceremonies, the abalone shell represents the element of water, while the sage stick or leaves represent earth and the feather represents air. Abalone shells are heat resistant and are excellent for use when burning either loose sage, sage sticks or any other herb of choice.
These beautiful shells are quite large at 12-15 cm and are ethically sourced and sustainably harvested.
