ABOUT ME
Hello! My name is Sheryl King and I'm the Crone responsible for all aspects of The Silver Pentacle - and this is my story.
Like many of you, I came from a Judeo-Christian background, where I was raised in a fairly religious environment. I've always felt connected to the Spirit world, even from a young age, which is a connection that has never left me.
Being drawn so strongly to these energies, I studied philosophy and religion at the University level for a number of years. This is where I began to learn more about Wicca and other alternative belief systems including Animism, Hinduism, Buddhism and Islam, among others.
Through my attraction to the more mystic traditions, I began to focus on Nature-based traditions and drew further away from the Judeo-Christian worldview. Seeing the value in a system which focuses on the Divine Feminine and one's own innate, natural powers and abilities, I began my to learn more about Wicca, Witchcraft and New Age philosophies.
Many moons later, after years of practice and study, I began to put my knowledge and interests to work in creating The Silver Pentacle - an outlet for my own personal creative talents and abilities and a way that I can share my own personal connection with the natural world with others and, hopefully, help others on their path as well.
I am always learning, always growing and always trying to maintain my connection to the realm of Spirit where we are all ultimately connected.
