Litha, also known as Midsummer, is celebrated on the summer solstice – the longest day and shortest night of the year. Litha is a celebration of the Sun, so get outside and honour the Solar Deities as this is the time at which the Holly King takes over from the Oak King, who will reign from now until Yule – the winter solstice.
